The 12-oz. CCC Stoneware Mug is made of clay that’s kiln-fired at over 2,000°F then cooled–a process that takes roughly 18 hours. It’s glazed with lead-free enamel for easy cleaning and to withstand the rigors of daily use. Custom-made for Filson with graphics honoring the Civilian Conservation Corps.

The Civilian Conservation Corps was one of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s most successful New Deal initiatives. Founded in 1933, the CCC put thousands of men to work reforesting our wildlands, combating erosion, and providing aid in times of natural disasters. Company 2935 was the unit based in Washington state, who completed numerous projects that are still in service today.
